After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's David Rusil got a free kick in the 12th minute. Emilio Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Bizi got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Bizi in the 18th minute. Alan Rezek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Orlando Sazon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Elizardo in the 31st minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Teofilo Bizi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Bizi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Alaaddin Uchiha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, River Plate's Orlando Sazon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Bizi in the 47th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Rico in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Jilek made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Denis Dostal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Dostal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute Denis Dostal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Turecek kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Eloy Elizardo in the 56th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vavrinec Holub's left hand side. Denis Dostal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alaaddin Uchiha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, River Plate's Silvestre Lugo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. River Plate's Alaaddin Uchiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Jilek in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Silvestre Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Teofilo Bizi made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Lugo in the 83rd minute of play.
