In the 6th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nico da Costa. Dinamo Bucarest FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dinamo Bucarest FC's Nico da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 10th minute of play. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nico da Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. After having played for 92 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
