That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Gualterio Faron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Txomin having to interfere. In the 13th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Txomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Antonio Vespucio Liberti's Elpidio Txomin. Elpidio Txomin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Txomin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 24 in the game by Kryspin Piechna from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Piechna in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Major Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Txomin was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 44 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Elpidio Txomin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Kryspin Piechna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Vespucio Liberti's Bernardo Ignatius was substituted for Teobald Pieprz. The Antonio Vespucio Liberti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Faron made a kick off. A collision led to Antonio Vespucio Liberti getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alfredo Kelemen hit a great ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Elpidio Txomin made a huge save. With a little luck, Antonio Vespucio Liberti's Elpidio Txomin got control of the ball when Takacs Tibor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Fulgencio Cristofol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Antonio Vespucio Liberti made a substitution. Jaime Arnalt replaced Kryspin Piechna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 77th minute of play forced Antonio Vespucio Liberti's goalkeeper Elpidio Txomin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Elpidio Txomin made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. When Antonio Vespucio Liberti's Fulgencio Cristofol in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Gualterio Faron's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Faron helped the player get up and apologised. Gualterio Faron hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Elpidio Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Antonio Vespucio Liberti's goalkeeper Elpidio Txomin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Takacs Tibor. The Antonio Vespucio Liberti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
