Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hızır Dilazad in the 10th minute. Benigno Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Feo having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Hızır Dilazad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hızır Dilazad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Anıl Adal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Necip Fazıl Yesari kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Lion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Benigno Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Lion FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Lion FC's Benigno Feo managed to reach the ball for a save. Benigno Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benigno Feo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 played minutes Lion FC got a freekick which was hit by Reşat Delfin. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Boros Benedek. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mehmet Anıl Adal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Anıl Adal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Mehmet Anıl Adal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Benigno Feo made a huge save. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benigno Feo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Benigno Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Lion FC's goalkeeper Benigno Feo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 76th minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benigno Feo. The goal made the score 1-2. Mehmet Anıl Adal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Hızır Dilazad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hızır Dilazad during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hungary booed when Lion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hızır Dilazad didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Major Barna hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
