If Flávio Baião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yves Dervaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasto Bargas having to interfere. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Erasto Bargas made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Alas de Júpiter's Bernardo Titos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Baião in the 76th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasto Bargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Alas de Júpiter fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgium had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
