Pastor Firman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

With a little luck, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman got control of the ball when Balazs Lajos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's Sebastian Verón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fodor Daniel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Sportivo Quilmes's Radomil Mietus shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 77th minute, Major Barna had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 77 minutes into the game, Leandro Fidalgo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportivo Quilmes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. In the 78th match minute, Club Sportivo Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Fidalgo to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Anacleto Monico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Pastor Firman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Pastor Firman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Quilmes from getting a goal against them. The Club Sportivo Quilmes players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
