SuperFuerza TM's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabián Cañadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Severino Gandia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Severino Gandia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Palomar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Hector-Luis Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25th play minutes Hector-Luis Palomar shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Casper Claes and just under the crossbar into goal. After 27 played minutes SuperFuerza TM got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Cardozo. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the game, Belgium's Yves Dervaux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Donzel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Donzel having to make a save. After 37 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. Hector-Luis Palomar struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SuperFuerza TM. In the 40th minute Hector-Luis Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Hector-Luis Palomar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Belgium booed when SuperFuerza TM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montes Torrente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prospero Donzel having to make a save. After 45 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Vanderstraeten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector-Luis Palomar in the 55th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Donzel made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute Hector-Luis Palomar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Prospero Donzel made a huge save. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prometeo Cabada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Severino Gandia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belgium's Casper Claes did a great save. Prospero Donzel made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. SuperFuerza TM made a substitution. Maarten Stubbe replaced Severino Gandia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector-Luis Palomar in the 84th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten Stubbe came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
