Florin Logofătu was slow to take the kick. During this time Progresul Pitesti's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Hungary booed when Progresul Pitesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chorache Tofiño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Martin Tudor to make any attempt to save it.
