In the 26thth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Hawk Football Club's Albert Canyelles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albert Canyelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Pascual Macia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Pascual Macia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Canyelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 31st minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Albert Canyelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Hawk Football Club the free kick. In the 87th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Oleguer Domènech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Ferran Planes took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-3. A sloppy throw-in by Lluis Sallet in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. Aleix Rosanes took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red Hawk Football Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
