The supporters of violeta booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gianpaolo Mascari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matej Nagy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Nagy in the 51st minute of play. Florian Tieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 52nd minute of the match. Franco Rivera made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Matej Nagy. Florian Tieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Franco Rivera made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Tieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Zaccheo Andolina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florian Tieri. The goal made the score 1-1. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Tieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Florian Tieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Florian Tieri was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Zaccheo Andolina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zaccheo Andolina really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 81st minute Arturo Scotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Tieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Nagy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Florian Tieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Curto in the 95th minute of the match. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siricio Liotta in the 96th minute. The violeta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
