Luís Paulo Netto might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Higgins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Paulo Netto ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Paulo Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zac O'Donnell to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Luís Paulo Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. Duarte Portela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Higgins was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Netto in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Redundo were awarded a corner. Frederico lacerda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Frederico lacerda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins did a great save. 86 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Redundo's Ronn Hongyi fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 88th minute Luís Paulo Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Santarém in the 93rd minute of play. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Paulo Netto went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Redundo had played much better football throughout.
