After taking down the ball on NIKE Academy's corner Oskar Lägdin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, NIKE Academy's Robert Mühren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when NIKE Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Christoforos Manousopoulos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Van Der Taelen got free with Arnout Reekers in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, NIKE Academy's Oskar Lägdin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 23 played minutes NIKE Academy got a freekick which was hit by Olov Åberg. In the 24th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoforos Manousopoulos's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Van Der Taelen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored NIKE Academy's protests and gave Anton Martinsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, NIKE Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Christoforos Manousopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Ola Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Christoforos Manousopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Marco Van Der Taelen charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Van Der Taelen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Ola Wall in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ola Wall. Ola Wall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ola Wall made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Ola Wall in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus-Vinícius Franceschini during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. NIKE Academy made a substitution. Starri Pramer replaced Marcus-Vinícius Franceschini. In the 84th minute, Marcus-Vinícius Franceschini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ola Wall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Wall having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, NIKE Academy's goalkeeper Ola Wall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. NIKE Academy's Ola Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save NIKE Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Lägdin in the 91st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoforos Manousopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NIKE Academy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
