Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Minho FC's Magno Aparecido started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Magno Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magno Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. André Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 16th minute of the match. Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vladimiro Gago in the 26 minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Minho FC's André Figueiredo. André Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Minho FC's André Figueiredo got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deodato Magliozzi got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Porziano Marchitelli. Minho FC's André Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Minho FC from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Minho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Aparecido in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yu Ran Zhen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Yu Ran Zhen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Vittori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. André Figueiredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zaccheo Andolina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. The supporters of Italy booed when Minho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Cláudio Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minho FC's André Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 71st minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Minho FC's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Figueiredo came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Minho FC's Hélder Soveral was substituted for Magno Aparecido. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Soveral in the 87th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Curto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Italy's Adriano Curto in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minho FC's goalie prevented a goal. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
