Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Galishoff in the 9th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, FC Ostroveni's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Galishoff came free, but Silviu Lung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Focșa made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luca Buricea however managed to control. In the 28th minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ostroveni's Silviu Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Schneider in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Enceanu in the 42nd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Buricea charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Buricea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Ostroveni's Luca Buricea got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sandro Galishoff made the kick off in the second half. Luca Buricea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Ilie Enceanu struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ostroveni. FC Ostroveni's Silviu Lung proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Ostroveni from getting a goal against them. In the 67th match minute, FC Ostroveni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Hanganu to maneuver through the defense. Austria's Sandro Galishoff shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silviu Lung but with some difficulty. In the 77th minute, Leonhard Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Schneider's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Silviu Lung skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Silviu Lung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Schneider in the 90th minute. Mădălin Focșa charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mădălin Focșa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mădălin Focșa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
