Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Vennersten came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Dan Vennersten made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Gernberg in the 15th minute of play. KD Stiger's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erik Bern in the 16th minute. KD Stiger's Erik Bern was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 17th minute, Ryszard Wyrzykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Karl-Michael Ersman got a free kick in the 25th minute. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after KD Stiger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Blixt having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Benjamin Blixt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Gernberg in the 43rd minute of play. Ryszard Wyrzykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Vennersten made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 52 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. When Dan Vennersten came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the KD Stiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Vennersten couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the game, KD Stiger's Dan Vennersten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Dan Vennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes KD Stiger got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Bållström. Gunnar Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Blixt. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. After 74 played minutes, KD Stiger's Gunnar Bållström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fodor Daniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KD Stiger reached it. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Bållström to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Blixt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Dan Vennersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Dan Vennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
