Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zerdalitepe's Akif Akın started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Akif Akın in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Francisco Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 8th minute of play. Francisco Barrionuevo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 14th minute of play forced Zerdalitepe's goalkeeper Francisco Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zerdalitepe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. In the 18th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Zerdalitepe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Francisco Barrionuevo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akif Akın in the 28th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garip Kadrican in the 33rd minute of play. Francisco Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tunç Akkaya got free with Fodor Daniel in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Takacs Tibor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zerdalitepe's Tunç Akkaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Tunç Akkaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Ali Asım Mülayim's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Asım Mülayim helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zerdalitepe getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ali Asım Mülayim hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Barrionuevo saved Zerdalitepe from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akif Akın's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akif Akın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zerdalitepe's Leon Matthäus was substituted for Tunç Akkaya. 68 minutes into the match, Zerdalitepe's goalkeeper Francisco Barrionuevo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. When Ali Asım Mülayim was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Ali Asım Mülayim kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Francisco Barrionuevo to make any attempt to save it. 84 minutes into the match, Zerdalitepe's Leon Matthäus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Matthäus in the 93rd minute of the match. Hungary played a much better game than Zerdalitepe and deserved their victory. The Zerdalitepe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
