Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurxo Lagunas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Xurxo Lagunas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 35th minute. After 38 played minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía got a freekick which was hit by Bichiko Candamo. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Belgium booed when Asturcones d´la Abadía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 54th minute Xurxo Lagunas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Asturcones d´la Abadía a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Yves Dervaux came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ermegildo Delgado could save by the left post. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 87th minute. A well done corner resulted in Yves Dervaux drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalkeeper. When Xurdin Candamo fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asturcones d´la Abadía's protests and gave Xurdin Candamo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurdin Candamo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Bichiko Candamo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Belgium were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Asturcones d´la Abadía to leave the ground with a draw.
