One of Toutourouki f.c.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Denmark:s goal. Tolis Mantouvalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tolis Mantouvalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 21st minute of play. Vrasidas Liouras kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Tolis Mantouvalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Stefanos Periou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Stefanos Periou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolis Mantouvalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 29th minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolis Mantouvalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Steen during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Mantouvalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Stefanos Periou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toutourouki f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefanos Periou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 59th minute of play forced Toutourouki f.c.'s goalkeeper Tolis Mantouvalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Vrasidas Liouras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Giorgos Kazatzidis's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgos Kazatzidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Toutourouki f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Kazatzidis. Vrasidas Liouras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Demis Thanos made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kostas Bosis however managed to control. After 71 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Toutourouki f.c.'s Tolis Mantouvalos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Periou in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Demis Thanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolis Mantouvalos made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Chris Nygaard sent off a good shot on target. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tolis Mantouvalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
