Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Simon Sabbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgium and the Pardubice Hurricanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Sabbe to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the game, Svatomír Krajíček was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pardubice Hurricanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. Belgium's Aaron Decoster was substituted for Simon Sabbe. After 6 played minutes Pardubice Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Svatomír Krajíček. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Přemek Ouředník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Přemek Ouředník having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 17th minute of play forced Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Pardubice Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svatomír Krajíček to maneuver through the defense. Přemek Ouředník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 57 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pardubice Hurricanes's Tomáš Horejš was substituted for Jiří Rychtář. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Edward Vanderstraeten sped through Pardubice Hurricanes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Přemek Ouředník. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Belgium's Sander Dermaut quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Otta Čejka, made in the 77th minute of the game. Přemek Ouředník came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 82 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Přemek Ouředník reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Pardubice Hurricanes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. 85 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Jorge in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Přemek Ouředník narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Přemek Ouředník tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belgium played a much better game than Pardubice Hurricanes and deserved their victory. The Pardubice Hurricanes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
