Přemek Ouředník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bas Tuitert the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Netherlands protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bas Tuitert had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Arnout Reekers had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Jiří Rychtář's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jiří Rychtář scored 2-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Přemek Ouředník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pardubice Hurricanes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th match minute, Pardubice Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radmil Lysák to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Molnár didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jiří Rychtář to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Jorge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Jorge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Přemek Ouředník made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Přemek Ouředník was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 62nd match minute, Pardubice Hurricanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítek Bittner to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The supporters of Pardubice Hurricanes booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Jorge kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pardubice Hurricanes were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
