Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Bartoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute, Celestino Urtsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Bartoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 21st minute of play forced Luprechauns's goalkeeper Severiano Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Garci got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hélio Nóbrega. Severiano Bartoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 24th minute of the match. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bertram Svenningsen kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Olav Graversen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Severiano Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 37 minutes on the clock, Celestino Urtsin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luprechauns! An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 42nd minute of play forced Luprechauns's goalkeeper Severiano Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Uxio was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Olav Graversen in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Luprechauns's Ramon Garci. The corner ended in Chris Nygaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Luprechauns's Severiano Bartoli did a great save. 60 minutes into the match, Luprechauns's goalkeeper Severiano Bartoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. Aureliano Betadur's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Betadur helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Luprechauns getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Aureliano Betadur hit a great ball. Severiano Bartoli was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Chris Nygaard. Severiano Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Steen in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Bartoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Severiano Bartoli made a huge save. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Severiano Bartoli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Severiano Bartoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 78th minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Bartoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Luprechauns getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aureliano Betadur hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Severiano Bartoli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Denmark's Lars Steen got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Pastor Lekubegi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Chris Nygaard in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severiano Bartoli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 95 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Severiano Bartoli managed to make a qualified save. Luprechauns's players were relieved. The Luprechauns fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
