Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Germany booed when Aris Salonicco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Bergomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vic Impens kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Aris Salonicco FC's Beppe Natalucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Malte Schiele charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malte Schiele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. In the 10th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Verdini had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Donato Verdini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Aris Salonicco FC's attentive Christian Di Marino managed to snatch the ball when Linus Schwerner made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. If Donato Verdini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Verdini had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Frank Sachs sped through Aris Salonicco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beppe Natalucci. Aris Salonicco FC's Christian Di Marino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Willy Stieler, made in the 34th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Verdini in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 39thth minute of the game Donato Verdini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Donato Verdini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Michelini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Adriano Michelini slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Verdini was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Aris Salonicco FC's Christian Di Marino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Adriano Michelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Giampaolo Pazzini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Giampaolo Pazzini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giampaolo Pazzini in the 71st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. Giampaolo Pazzini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aris Salonicco FC's Franco Bergomi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Willy Stieler in the 78 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Giampaolo Pazzini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Giampaolo Pazzini came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giampaolo Pazzini went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score.
