Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Brent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Albert Fitzgerald got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guus Zalm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 17th minute, Norman Brent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guus Zalm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. CAFC1905's Urbasa Uria suffered a concussion after 24 minutes and had to leave the field. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CAFC1905's Rupert Freeman got a free kick in the 31st minute. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Albert Fitzgerald made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Norman Brent came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Albert Fitzgerald fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAFC1905's protests and gave Albert Fitzgerald a yellow card for diving instead. Albert Fitzgerald hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Willy Stieler charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ross Ingrams short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albert Fitzgerald to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Ross Ingram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CAFC1905's Daniel Parkin got a free kick in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Sachs during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, CAFC1905's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Guus Zalm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Brent, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. CAFC1905 made a substitution. Itzhak Gilaon replaced Norman Brent. In the 72nd minute, Ross Ingram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind CAFC1905's goalkeeper Guus Zalm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of CAFC1905 booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Parkin in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Adrian Dreifuss. Adrian Dreifuss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Guus Zalm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CAFC1905.
