In the 7th minute, Kang Feng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a rather tough play, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Salvador Salomon got a free kick in the 9th minute. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Krakouer during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 17th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Lorien was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvarado de Mar del Plata's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Haroldo Lorien managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janik Vogt during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. If Haroldo Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Lennie Buckler came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. If Haroldo Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Rolando Hodei sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Lorien went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the game, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Kang Feng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Feng in the 52nd minute of play. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Iker Mincho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Lorien, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Lorien ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tymoteusz Gonsiewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Kang Feng scored 4-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvarado de Mar del Plata made a substitution. Modesto Isadore replaced Rolando Hodei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Lorien in the 67th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kang Feng came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Alvarado de Mar del Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kang Feng couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Haroldo Lorien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Alvarado de Mar del Plata's corner Haroldo Lorien fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Sven Krakouer tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tommy Kahn. An unnecessary self made goal, 5-0 in the 85th minute. The supporters of Germany booed when Alvarado de Mar del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymoteusz Gonsiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alvarado de Mar del Plata fully deserved thier win.
