Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc-Olivier Battini. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 36th minute. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Vannier having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Sébastien Vergnolle made a kick off. Lorenzo Vannier didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson Chêne in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Chêne came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Aulnay's much stronger midfield.
