The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Graciano Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. Graciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Eusko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alvaro Eusko hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, STARK F.C.'s Cleto Uzuri got a free kick in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Eusko. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Portugal's goalie and right to Zeledon Abajas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Portugal's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Portugal's Bruno Bastos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zeledon Abajas in the 29 minute of the game. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Portugal booed when STARK F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Tadzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya made a huge save. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 62 in the game by Felipe Barreto from a close distance when the talented Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya managed to make a qualified save. STARK F.C.'s players were relieved. The supporters of STARK F.C. booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Felipinho Amorim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 75th minute of play forced STARK F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Urtzi in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, STARK F.C.'s Cleto Uzuri got a free kick in the 80th minute. STARK F.C. made a substitution. Luca Langoni replaced Alvaro Eusko. In the 81st match minute, STARK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Uzuri to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Cleto Uzuri with Javier Canepa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Cleto Uzuri in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 冯枫俊 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilson Amorim. Portugal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya saved STARK F.C. from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
