Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Football Wizards 59's Bertil Gudmundsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Gudmundsson was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Pierre-Emmanuel Gallou managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The corner ended in Chris Nygaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Football Wizards 59's Bertil Gudmundsson did a great save. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
