Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianpaolo Mascari, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Beat Vid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Hierro charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Hierro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aioros FC! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Italy. Sigfrido Auletta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Beat Vid. 0-1. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Aioros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Beat Vid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deodato Magliozzi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Aioros FC got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domingo Perón ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Domingo Perón almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. Beat Vid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Chandeiro struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aioros FC. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bento Chandeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 51st minute of play. Wang Qi Chang made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Thanks to some nice moves Zaccheo Andolina could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Beat Vid however easily saved by the left post. In the 61st minute of the match, Siricio Liotta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beat Vid saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Perón in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Beat Vid in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anton Axelsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Aioros FC's Bento Chandeiro. But to his dismay, Bento Chandeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aioros FC made a substitution. Jose Miguel Núñez replaced Bento Chandeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 75th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Wang Qi Chang made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Miguel Núñez came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jose Miguel Núñez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Vittori was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Perón in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Axelsson in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 89th minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beat Vid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guiscardo Davide kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Italy failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
