The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Fierce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Sirvent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrice Lepetit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 17th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Erik Jilek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the game, Daniel Vitek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fierce's Ramón Sirvent quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Fierce fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Fierce's Pierre-Loup Grandgirard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Fierce's Pierre-Loup Grandgirard. But to his dismay, Pierre-Loup Grandgirard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Rezek in the 39th minute of play forced Fierce's goalkeeper Fabrice Lepetit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Dostal struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fabrice Lepetit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Czech Republic. A collision led to Fierce getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ramón Sirvent hit a great ball. Erik Jilek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrice Lepetit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clovis Lenoble stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Erik Jilek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrice Lepetit was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jilek couldn't finish the play. After 69 played minutes Fierce got a freekick which was hit by Faustin Compagnon. Clovis Lenoble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. David Rusil charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Rusil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. David Rusil hit a great ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Andrea Bocelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Valdemar Turecek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fierce the free kick. Valdemar Turecek hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Fierce's Loïc Ruckebusch was substituted for Charlie Salvan. In the 79th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Turecek to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Loup Grandgirard came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Rusil hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Clovis Lenoble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fierce made a substitution. Alvaro De Pedro replaced Alexandre Bertholet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Jilek got free with Fabrice Lepetit in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
