Rubén Urruti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Rubén Urruti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play forced Sitges's goalkeeper Rubén Urruti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubén Urruti having to make a save. Rubén Urruti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 16th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charidimos Papandreou, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenz De Paula in the 23rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubén Urruti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 30th minute of play forced Sitges's goalkeeper Rubén Urruti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's Takacs Tibor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rubén Urruti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rubén Urruti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Salazar came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. Henrik Suuroja's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Suuroja helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hungary booed when Sitges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Suuroja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Sitges's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Rubén Urruti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenz De Paula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubén Urruti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 53 played minutes Sitges got a freekick which was hit by Charidimos Papandreou. 53 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubén Urruti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Hungary booed when Sitges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldemar Folch in the 70th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Øyvind Rovik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Rubén Urruti. 85 minutes into the match, Sitges's goalkeeper Rubén Urruti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 87th minute, Charidimos Papandreou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubén Urruti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 88th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenz De Paula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubén Urruti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Johnson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Hungary players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
