Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Guilherme Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rio Pardo MZC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Pardo MZC's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Aparecido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enéas Lago got free with Casper Claes in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Guilherme Aparecido saved Rio Pardo MZC from getting behind. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Luís Guilherme Aparecido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enéas Lago to strike the kick off in the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Luís Guilherme Aparecido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Rio Pardo MZC's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Aparecido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Luís Guilherme Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 61st minute.
