Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Boleslaw Zawadzki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boleslaw Zawadzki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, MIRA -ŁÓDZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Mateo Phelipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leonard Brack came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the MIRA -ŁÓDZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Brack couldn't finish the play. Boleslaw Zawadzki took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mateo Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksander Klewinskis short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Phelipe having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MIRA -ŁÓDZ! Mateo Phelipe came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 42nd minute, Boleslaw Zawadzki made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 47th minute, David Eikelkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind MIRA -ŁÓDZ's goalkeeper Mateo Phelipe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mateo Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Mateo Phelipe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mateo Phelipe made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target.
