The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benne Arnoets was the one to do the kick off. Nicolaas Versluys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toni Mauzer got free with Nicolaas Versluys in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolaas Versluys having to interfere. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Matoekoes's goalkeeper Nicolaas Versluys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, De Matoekoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bavo Decremer to maneuver through the defense. Croatia's attentive Martin Bosak managed to snatch the ball when Jeffery Dockx made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game.
