Krzysztof Hajduk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sven Krakouer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, JUNICO Ełk's Juliusz Gniewek got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tommy Kahn. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Krzysztof Hajduk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After having played for 18 minutes, Dariusz Lepucki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JUNICO Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dariusz Lepucki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Krzysztof Hajduk made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 24 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dariusz Lepucki. 28 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. JUNICO Ełk's Bono Iniesta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krzysztof Hajduk's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Hajduk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Stieler during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albin Holweck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, JUNICO Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bono Iniesta to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Hajduk struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUNICO Ełk. 59 minutes into the game, Stefan Waldoch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JUNICO Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Adrian Dreifuss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Artur Zapolskih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Lepucki in the 70th minute of play. Dario Llope charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Llope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Lepucki in the 78th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to JUNICO Ełk getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Radomir Zieba hit a great ball. Krzysztof Hajduk took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
