In the 34th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Raitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Faustino Mambru tried to sneak it across the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 43rd minute when Viorel Uncuţă elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The wind increased when Viorel Uncuţă made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Faustino Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. 11 Chivos Reales's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Raimundo Raitin made a huge save.
