Gernando Azevedo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15th minute, Gernando Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 26th minute of the match. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro. Ruy Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Viriato Moura struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ruy Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos-Henrique Casemiro hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's zone, Viriato Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Montenegro came out of the goal and Viriato Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 56th minute of play. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Portugal's Felipe Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruy Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro got control of the ball when Caetano Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ruy Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
