The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Oceania Rumia's Cyprian Kisielka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 13th match minute, Oceania Rumia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Jaruzelski to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Oceania Rumia's Karol Ochylski. Karol Ochylski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karol Ochylski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Jaruzelski in the 23rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Oceania Rumia got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Burak Akersoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Oceania Rumia's Burak Akersoy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 26 played minutes Oceania Rumia got a freekick which was hit by Florian Jaruzelski. After a defensive mix-up in Oceania Rumia's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karol Ochylski came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes Oceania Rumia got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Kisielka. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karol Ochylski having to interfere. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Kanczuszewski in the 33rd minute of play. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Burak Akersoy came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karol Ochylski was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyprian Kisielka's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Oceania Rumia were awarded a corner. Burak Akersoy went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Burak Akersoy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. A collision led to Oceania Rumia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Emanuel Schiau hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyprian Kisielka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Germany booed when Oceania Rumia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Kisielka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Cyprian Kisielka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyprian Kisielka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Schiau during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Oceania Rumia getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Emanuel Schiau hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyprian Kisielka in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeusz Kanczuszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ulrich Stein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Iwo Sawicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Oceania Rumia's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Karol Ochylski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oceania Rumia's goalkeeper Karol Ochylski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Iwo Sawicki made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Oceania Rumia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
