The tension between the Santiago Futebol Clube and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Santiago Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei de Barros. Cauan Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauan Favoretto. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Cauan Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 31st minute, one of Germany:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Germany. The goalkeeper, Tommy Kahn, was totally fooled by Santiago Futebol Clube's Enrique Arósio, who 33 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. Germany's Frank Sachs suffered a sore foot after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Cauan Favoretto sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Santa María made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute of the match Enrique Arósio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Christiano de Queirós in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Adrian Dreifuss. Santiago Futebol Clube's Francisco Zanette was substituted for Nico Bueno. After a rather tough play, Santiago Futebol Clube's Christiano de Queirós got a free kick in the 68th minute. Anton Hurezeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Schwerner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Futebol Clube made a substitution. Quintin Scheiber replaced Enrique Arósio. 82 minutes into the game, Christiano de Queirós threw the ball into play from the sideline. Germany's Adrian Dreifuss quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Santiago Futebol Clube's Quintin Scheiber got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Linus Schwerner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anton Hurezeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Santa María had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Santa María was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
