Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Antal Valentin made the kick off and thus started the match. Santiago Futebol Clube's Anton Hurezeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Santiago Futebol Clube booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Enrique Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Enrique Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Santa María, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Santa María had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Santa María was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, Santiago Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Santiago Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Anton Hurezeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes Santiago Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Takacs Tibor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santiago Futebol Clube's Anton Hurezeanu did a great save. 38 minutes into the match, Santiago Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Anton Hurezeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Katona Janos hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Enrique Arósio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hungary's Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move. In the 45th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Hurezeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nico Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santiago Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Santa María in the 57th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Hurezeanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anton Hurezeanu came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Takacs Tibor. But to his dismay, Takacs Tibor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Santiago Futebol Clube's Arlindo Ramos was substituted for Carlos Santana. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Favoretto in the 71st minute of play. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Anton Hurezeanu made a huge save. With a little luck, Santiago Futebol Clube's Anton Hurezeanu got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santiago Futebol Clube made a substitution. Quintin Scheiber replaced Enrique Arósio. In the 85th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A hard shot 86 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Anton Hurezeanu managed to make a qualified save. Santiago Futebol Clube's players were relieved. Anton Hurezeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 91st minute. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santiago Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
