Eleuterio Maraman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Abadia. TZILACATZIN's Celso Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sreten Popovic in the 19th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The TZILACATZIN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Serbia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
