Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maurice Odonnell started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 5th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Gilberto Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Seth Luke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurice Odonnell in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Wendell Petit took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Seth Luke came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. Gilberto Boone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maurice Odonnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Goudreau hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes in the game, Maurice Odonnell fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Boone having to interfere. The Varennes fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Varennes's Maurice Odonnell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gilberto Boone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Varennes's Hong Mosher was substituted for Ward Houde. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titus Pineda, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute, Titus Pineda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 79th minute Maurice Odonnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Odonnell came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Hong Mosher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Varennes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
