In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind True storY's goalkeeper Pahom Nikiforov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pahom Nikiforov. Pahom Nikiforov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Maadan Lăcătuș got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Kostadinov got free with Tommy Kahn in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The True storY fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when True storY's 张超骏 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Veniamin Lobanov kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Gennadiy Terentiev made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Chinagorom 典韦 however managed to control. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute, True storY's 张超骏 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off.
