Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buciumii the free kick. After 7 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 11th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Grondzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Gheară's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Ghițulescu in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when FC Buciumii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Trăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Dumitru Ghițulescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Buciumii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Buciumii's Rareș Necula got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Adrian Dreifuss was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albin Holweck to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Gheară in the 51st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Gheară's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 74th minute Pavel Balc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Willy Stieler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eric Trăilă in the 76 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Balc in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pavel Balc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Pavel Balc notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Buciumii's attentive Eric Trăilă managed to snatch the ball when Willy Stieler made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Pavel Balc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Balc took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Buciumii had played much better football throughout.
