The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Switzerland's Hias Nüssli got control of the ball when Emilio Rik tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Rogelio Tarin in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Switzerland's Timo Siegmund. Samuele Kunz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Miliano Jareño with Emilio Rik as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The nice shot from Emilio Rik in the 34thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hias Nüssli had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Teodor Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jardi Club de Fútbol's protests and gave Teodor Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Jardi Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Samuele Kunz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Colas Portillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jacinto Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colas Portillo having to interfere. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Colas Portillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Rik went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuele Kunz made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Jardi Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Samuele Kunz charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuele Kunz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Samuele Kunz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Emilio Rik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hias Nüssli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Switzerland were furious when Levi von Herren was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Jardi Club de Fútbol a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alberto Saura, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Switzerland's Hias Nüssli. 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Rik in the 86th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Maurer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Colas Portillo made a huge save. Switzerland were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Jardi Club de Fútbol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuele Kunz took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jardi Club de Fútbol's goalie and right to Gustav Iseli. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jardi Club de Fútbol's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Jacinto Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Maurer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Miliano Jareño threw the ball into play from the sideline. Switzerland's Samuele Kunz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Switzerland's Timo Siegmund managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rogelio Tarin in the 99 minute of the game. The Jardi Club de Fútbol players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
