Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucjan Werra made the kick off which started today's match. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cezary Kasiewski sent off a good shot on target. After 5 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Cwojdak. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Kasiewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão Pontes was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Lucjan Werra sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Betão Pontes. Bjarne Kirkegaard made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GKS Katowice's Borys Kiszkiel. Borys Kiszkiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kasiewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 29th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Denmark were awarded a corner. Chris Nygaard went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Chris Nygaard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes did a great save. Lars Steen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Steen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Betão Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Pontes should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes in the game Dominik Brysz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zbyszko Kasiewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 44th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Betão Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Denmark were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Dominik Brysz with Lucjan Werra as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Werra in the 55th minute of play. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theis Winther to maneuver through the defense. Theis Winther hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Pontes should have stopped the shot. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GKS Katowice's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Chris Nygaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrad Komanski kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theis Winther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by GKS Katowice's Ludomir Zacharek. But to his dismay, Ludomir Zacharek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lucjan Werra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Katowice's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pontes came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
