Luo Feng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Siricio Liotta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luo Feng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Rodd Lockwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zapryan Sakarov in the 20th minute of play. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mustafa İzzet Ağçelik, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omurtag Venchev in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Delyan Tzenov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
