Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Dostal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristoforo Tarulli fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Fighting Mongooses FC's protests and gave Cristoforo Tarulli a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when The Fighting Mongooses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Tarulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witomir Beninda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Dostal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Erik Jilek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Beninda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Fighting Mongooses FC's Aysan Tanzer got a free kick in the 18th minute. Witomir Beninda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Rezek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Denis Dostal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Gustaw Flis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Franciszek Oryniak made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 45th minute, Gustaw Flis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vavrinec Holub. The goal made the score 2-0.

Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaw Flis's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolek Jaworski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaw Flis came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Tolek Jaworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Fighting Mongooses FC's Eugeniusz Mnich got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lech Modrzewski scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lech Modrzewski in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, Erik Jilek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Fighting Mongooses FC the free kick. Erik Jilek hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Gustaw Flis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lech Modrzewski's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Flis in the 87th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Modrzewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lech Modrzewski took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The Fighting Mongooses FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
