Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernandinho Bastos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Natã do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Natã do Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 14 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Natã do Vale got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 22nd match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Martins to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermínio Paraibano during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Germany booed when Ubatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Fernandinho Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 32nd minute of play forced Ubatuba's goalkeeper Fernandinho Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubatuba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dráuzio Velasco in the 38th minute. The corner led Ubatuba's Dráuzio Velasco to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Franklin Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubatuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Franklin Martins hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natã do Vale made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo Pereira took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Fernandinho Bastos in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernandinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Dreifuss, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã do Vale in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Natã do Vale came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandinho Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 89th minute of play. The Ubatuba support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
