Lautaro L.P.'s Salvador Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Lautaro L.P.'s Gary Medel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lautaro L.P.'s Salvador Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 10th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andolín Echeandía in the 11th minute. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andolín Echeandía's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Lautaro L.P.'s Andolín Echeandía was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Andolín Echeandía recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gary Medel in the 25th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andolín Echeandía, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Lautaro L.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Salvador Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 2-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Ortega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andolín Echeandía was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Lautaro L.P. getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Franz Kafka hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Salvador Ortega successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andolín Echeandía in the 54th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Salvador Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Medel in the 58th minute of play. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andolín Echeandía's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Gustaaf Groeneveldt from a close distance when the talented Salvador Ortega managed to make a qualified save. Lautaro L.P.'s players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Euloxu in the 77th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro L.P.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qi Jun Xiang in the 80th minute. After taking down the ball on Lautaro L.P.'s corner Qi Jun Xiang fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. In the 81st match minute, Lautaro L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Irisarri to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Salvador Ortega on his right side and into the goal. 82 minutes into the game it was 2-3. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulco Urra in the 91st minute of play. Wang Peng hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
