Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl Ahju took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Vennerström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joakim Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 4th minute of play. FC Kopli were furious when Franciszek Labus was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 7 minutes into the game, one of FC Kopli:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FC Kopli:s Joakim Vennerström showed great skill when he stopped Gijsbert ter Kruimer:s penalty. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joakim Vennerström. Joakim Vennerström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Elmar Loorits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Kaido Lipmeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Loorits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Loorits in the 29th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Madis Ratas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kopli's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Vennerström came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joakim Vennerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Henri Meri kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Joakim Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joakim Vennerström firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joakim Vennerström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 61st minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kopli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 84th match minute, FC Kopli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmar Loorits to maneuver through the defense. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Loorits in the 92nd minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after FC Kopli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joakim Vennerström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 96 minutes into the game, David Eikelkamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kopli the free kick. After 96 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp.
